Corrina Rayment 2005 Expatriate Shiraz - Syrah/Shiraz Red Wine

Red Wine by Corrina Rayment from McLaren Vale, Australia. The 2005 Shiraz Expatriate was tasted from a barrel sample. It is dense crimson/purple in color with a brooding nose of mineral, leather, spice box, blueberry, and blackberry liqueur. This is followed by a full-bodied, voluptuous wine with layered, thick, intense flavors, well-concealed tannins, and a very long finish. Give it 5-7 years to blossom and drink it through 2025. - Robert Parker
